I like Anime. I like RPGs. But rarely do those two mix well to become a good RPG based on an anime. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin might just be the one to change that.
For the most part, when we get anime game adaptations, we get fighting games like Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm or Dragon Ball FighterZ, which are cool, but not my cup of tea.

When I first saw the title flash up I wasn’t particularly excited… But in moments the trailer had me like:

And I’m not even a fan of The Seven Deadly Sins (I’ve never got round to watching it), the game just looks cool! If you didn’t know it was based on an anime, you’d just assume this was a new open-world action RPG set within a medieval fantasy setting.
The visuals look super charming, the combat intense, and the world a fun place to explore, full of magic and wonder… Plus there’s fishing? C’mon now, don’t threaten me with a good time!
