Seagate’s new SSD comes from a galaxy far, far away

Seagate has revealed an official new Star Wars inspired Solid State Drive.

The FireCuda PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD features a snazzy swappable heatsink faceplate that comes with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, and Luke Skywalker variations.

With customisable RGB LED lighting that shines through the faceplate, your set-up can morph from a serene Jedi blue to a seething Sith red.

With read speeds of up to 7300 MB/s and a high endurance rating of up to 2550 total bytes written, your PC will be faster than a jump to hyperspace!

No word yet on how many Midi-chlorians the drives have.

The special edition SSD is available now from Seagate retailers in 1TB ($299) and 2TB ($449) versions.
