PlayStation have announced their first State of Play for 2023!
It’s been a while between drinks, the last one was all the way back on September 14 last year.
State of Play is back! Tune in Thursday at 1pm PT for:
☑️ Five new PS VR2 titles from partners
☑️ Hot indie and third-party reveals
☑️ An extended look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguehttps://t.co/kMPyPpMhSk pic.twitter.com/mu8RX0ZJFk— PlayStation (@PlayStation) February 21, 2023

What to expect
PlayStation have tempered expectations, announcing the stream will feature games from third-party partners, hot indies and five PSVR2 games coming later this year. There will also be a chunky 15 minute deep dive on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, featuring all-new gameplay details.
So don’t expect any first-party games. No Spider-Man 2. No Last of Us Factions.

Third-party partners could mean anyone from SquareEnix to Bandai Namco to Kojima Productions and beyond.
In September’s State of Play we got a first look at Tekken 8, could we be in for a gameplay trailer this time? We also saw Stellar Blade, a PS5 exclusive due this year, so perhaps a release date for that.
Here’s hoping we get another peek at Death Stranding 2!
Where to watch
Catch it live, Friday 24th Feb at 8:00 am AEDT on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
We’ll also be sure to bring you the latest as it happens.
