UPDATE: The PlayStation Portal gets an Australian release date
PlayStation has given us the release date for the PlayStation Portal! But it’s not all roses for us Aussies.
It’s not coming to Australia — at least on launch. My PlayStation fangirl heart is broken.

The Portal is currently available to preorder directly from PlayStation in the US, UK, and parts of Europe and will head to other retailers from September 29th. Canada and Japan have also made the list for preorders, but PlayStation still hasn’t confirmed an Australian release date or preorder opportunity.
If you weren’t aware, the PlayStation Portal, previously code-named Project Q, is a handheld device that allows users to connect to their PS5 via Wi-Fi and play games in their library. The Portal also takes advantage of PlayStation DualSense Controller features.
