Another studio has been welcomed into the PlayStation family, with Firewalk Studios coming in to bolster the live service offerings PlayStation has in development.

The relatively new Firewalk Studios was already working on an original AAA multiplayer game for PlayStation before being acquired.
The team is comprised of former Bungie, Respawn and Raven Software developers (among others). So it would be a pretty good bet to assume they’re working on a first-person shooter.
They certainly seem to have impressed PlayStation enough for them to whip the cheque book out!
“We’re excited for Firewalk to bring their technical and creative expertise to PlayStation Studios to help grow our live service operations and deliver something truly special for gamers,” Hermen Hulst, Head of PlayStation Studios, said in PlayStation’s latest blog post.
Hopefully we’ll learn more about their upcoming game in the near future.
