Day two of PAX Australia 2024 is upon us! Saturday is always the busiest day of the expo, with tens of thousands making their way across the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
We’ve got our eyes on a few things, including the “how to draft” Magic the Gathering sessions, located in the tabletop area. PlaySide Studios is hosting a “Getting into Gaming” panel at 10:30 AM in the DropBear Theatre. Wētā Workshop is hosting a panel at 11:00 AM on Tales of the Shire. There’s Cult of the Lamb photo ops across the day and speed running galore.

Nathanael’s tabletop quest continues!
Cartograph is a wonderful little solo or group game by The Ravensbridge Emporium where you work to craft a world map including towns, rivers, mountains.
As your story evolves, you’ll map the region, get to know the inhabitants, and potentially die horribly in the wilderness. Can be played with normal dice or custom themed dice that are wonderfully hand made.

Created by university students, Blood Reaver has been well received by the gaming community and so Hell Byte studio was born.

The Dark Room, a cult-favorite interactive comedy show hosted by John Robertson, made a thrilling return to PAX Aus 2024.
Blending classic video game humor with live audience participation, the show offers a chaotic journey where attendees must navigate the room’s many text based challenges to survive… or hilariously fail.
