From the developers of stunning indie platformer Gris comes an equally eye-catching 2D action-adventure, Neva. Nomada Studio has given a very first look at gameplay from the emotionally charged journey of Alba and her bonded wolf cub.
The game will feature platforming puzzles, fast-paced combat, and a wolf that grows and matures over time, echoing its developing relationship with Alba.

Gris was beautifully atmospheric with a fantastic soundtrack, and Neva looks to be following in those footsteps. The soundscape is ethereal and melancholy, with the serene sounds of nature mixed with the shrill cries of the creepy combatants.

Paired together with the minimalist art-style and bold, super-wide camera angle, it creates a fantastical but somewhat sad atmosphere.
I don’t know about you, but I always get excited seeing over-sized animals! I can’t wait to explore more of this world and give that adorable wolf all the pets the game will allow.
Neva is set to release later this year on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch.
