‘regal.inspiring.thickness’ — Geoff Keighley’s X-post (with an image teasing a section of a demonic statue), sent the gaming community on the wildest goose chase in recent memory. The words turned out to be coordinates, leading brave fans to a location in California’s Mojave Desert, where a real life statue was waiting for them.
The statue featured a mass of intertwined demons, wild animals, warriors in armour, and what appeared to be an giant eye-ball with outspread tendrils. But as various industry insiders and developers themselves debunked guess after guess, the mystery had many clutching at straws. Half-Life 3? Dante’s Inferno? Elden Ring 2? SAROS?

The logo features an eyeball similar to the one on the statue, and another trademarked icon looked to be a perfect match to the eye and tendrils on the statue.
While most jumped straight to Divinity: Original Sin 3, that was soon debunked, leaving a new game in the Divinity IP as the most likely reveal.
And they were right! A new game titled simply ‘Divinity‘ was revealed at The Game Awards; a gruesome and grotesque cinematic trailer, setting a dark, demonic tone for the future game.
We can’t wait to see more!
