Who doesn’t love a bit of virtual parkour? You don’t need to meet the IRL fitness requirements to execute those death defying moves, and there’s no risk of falling flat on your face!
MOTORSLICE was revealed today as part of the Guerrilla Collective showcase; described as a slice-of-life action-adventure, inspired by the Prince of Persia series. However, a couple more games come to mind when watching the trailer: Mirror’s Edge and Shadow of the Colossus. Which seems like an amazing mash-up of games if you ask me!
Players venture into the minimalist-style world as ‘P’, who’s tasked with destroying all the machines inside an abandoned mega-structure, but things don’t exactly go to plan.
To my eyes, P seems very much inspired by Faith from Mirror’s Edge, another classic parkour title, while the epic machine battles bring me right back to the amazingly fun fights in Shadow of the Colossus.
