The quirky Nintendo life sim Tomodachi Life is making a comeback! After a ten-year absence, Nintendo has finally announced a sequel in its latest Direct. The best part? Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream looks just as outrageous as ever.
This time, your Miis are ditching their tiny apartment complex for a sun-soaked seaside resort, where they can stir up even more chaos. Inviting family, celebrities, and even Miyamoto’s Mii was a huge part of the fun in the last game, and it looks like that tradition will continue.

From forging friendships to witnessing hilariously bizarre encounters, there’s plenty to dive into, including a peek inside your Miis’ dreams! Here’s hoping all the wacky scenarios from the 3DS version return. Watching Miyamoto belt out a karaoke solo was truly unforgettable.
However, you’ll have to wait until 2026 to let your Miis loose in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. In the meantime, I’ll be busy crafting the ultimate resident list because moving in day can’t come soon enough!
