Hold on to your konbini socks — State of Play Japan just confirmed inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories will be released in early 2026. There’s still no set date in April (damn), but it’s nice to finally have a semi-permanent window for one of my most anticipated cosies.
For the uninitiated (and slightly less konbini-obsessed), inKONBINI s a narrative-driven convenience store sim set in early 1990s Japan. Oh, and yes — konbini means convenience store. Sorry if you already knew that.

If you’re hankering for a taster, an inKONBINI demo is live on Steam now, or you can read our preview. The full game will be available on PC via Steam, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. No word on pricing yet.
Currently deep in my post-Japan holiday depression, I simply cannot wait.
