How to get a Painted Panda in Two Point Museum: Zooseum

Getting a Painted Panda in Two Point Museum: Zooseum is no mean feat. Which is why we’ve put together a step-by-step guide to help you finally track down the star of Two Point Studios’ latest DLC.

The last POI on the map.

Yes, all of them. You’ll need to visit every other POI on the Farflung Isles until you eventually unlock Bumbling Bush. It only appears after completing the Tremorglades POI, which you’ll reach in Chapter 5 of Zooseum.

Studying.

Make sure your team is ready before you go panda-hunting. You’ll need:

  • One Wildlife Expert at level 10
  • Two Wildlife Experts at level five
  • One of these Experts should be trained up to level one in Macro-Zoology

You’ll likely have this by the time you hit Chapter 5, but double-check just in case.

To avoid all the possible events on the Expedition, ensure:

  • One of your Experts or Assistants has Pilot Wings
  • Your total crew level is 40+
These are amazing once you unlock them.

Head to your Workshop and make Rewilding Resets — you’ll need them. These boost Biodiversity in POIs and increase Expedition days. Equip one each time you visit Bumbling Bush to push that Biodiversity level up. Aim for level two or three if you can.

All they do is sleep and eat.

Now for the grind.

Keep sending your crew to Bumbling Bush until you finally spot a Painted Panda. They typically appear once the POI is sitting comfortably at Biodiversity level two or three.

Once you’ve captured your panda, you’ll need to breed them — and, much like real-life pandas, they’re not exactly speedy about it. Good luck. You’ll need it.
