Quarantine Zone: The Last Check was a viral hit in early access, now it’s been picked up and published by indie heroes Devolver Digital. In Quarantine Zone, players can experience the ins and outs of the zombie apocalypse, deciding who is worth saving and who isn’t.
There’s plenty of items to obtain and use throughout the game, but there’s some special Golden Collectibles you need to keep an eye out for.

For each collectible you find, you’ll bank $500 cash. It’s worth finding the ones hidden around base in the early game to give you a leg up. The first five on the list can be found hidden around the base, the rest you’ll need to collect at you play.
Keep in mind, some of the collectibles you’ll find at random on survivors coming through the checkpoint.
As you collect each one, they’ll start filling out your armoury in the command room (next to where you sleep).
Here’s where to find all of the collectibles in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check:
#1. The Golden Hand Grenade
The first one is nice and easy. There’s a Golden Grenade hidden underneath your bed, just underneath where you rest your head. Seems safe.
#2. The Golden Trolley
The Golden Trolley can be found on top of the helipad in the Garage. This is accessible by a staircase underneath the pad. This is a throwback to the original demo bug that saw players flying around using the corpse cart.
#3. The Golden Solider
The Golden Soldier is located on a security tower at the A-Block, just through the Garage area. Head to the middle tower as you go through the large gate at the end of the Garage, up the stairs of the tower and it’s overlooking the carnage outside.
#4. The Golden Bottle
There’s seemingly multiple opportunities to find a Golden Bottle. The first is in the laboratory tent, up the back in a white box next to a sink.
The same collectible can also currently be found on random survivors. I’ve since confirmed with the developers that this is a bug and is expected to be patched soon, but in the meantime…
Another Golden Bottle popped up on a survivor come Day 23. Empty his backpack to find a fine selection of sauces, a bottle of multi cleaner and the Golden Bottle.
A man arrives at the checkpoint with a backpack full of beer, a Golden Bottle… and a human head. This also kicks off a great little side quest, tasking you to collect 4 different body parts. I came across this guy on Day 20.
#5. The Golden Crowbar
The Golden Crowbar can be found on a workbench in the Garage area.
#6. The Golden Evacuation Truck
The Golden Evacuation Truck is located on top of the truck just outside the Garage entrance. To get on top of the truck, head around to the front of the truck, stand on the tires, jump up onto the barrels and hop on over to the top of the truck.
#7. The Golden Katana
A Golden Katana can be confiscated from a survivor. I found it on Day 10. Empty the survivor’s backpack onto the table to claim. There’s a current bug that prevents the katana from appearing in the shed. So don’t worry! It’s still there. Patch to come.
#8. The Golden Chainsaw
The Golden Chainsaw is also obtained by confiscation. I found it in a survivor’s backpack on Day 11. This survivor was the “sadist” as part of the WANTED: SAW side quest.
#9. Alien Plushie
The adorable Alien Plushie can be found in a survivor’s backpack named Godenot — he’s wearing a beanie that looks like a knight’s helmet. He appeared for me on day 12 and a second play through on day 22.
#10. The Golden Pistol
The infamous golden gun features in the game. It can be found on a random survivor at the checkpoint. This collectible is spot serially having spawning issues at the moment — keep your eye on the latest developer updates.
#11. HK416
The Golden assault rifle HK416 can be found at random by inspecting survivors.
#12. The Golden Ukulele
The Golden Ukulele can be found at random by inspecting survivors.
#13. The Golden Bat aka “Lucille”
The Golden Bat can be found at random by inspecting survivors.
#14. The Golden Machete
The Golden Machete can be found at random by inspecting survivors.
