How to adjust the difficulty in Lost Soul Aside

If you’re encapsulated by the world of Lost Soul Aside but getting your ass handed to you by a boss… you may want some extra assistance.

There’s no shame in wanting to breeze past a specific area (at least that’s what I tell myself). Between family and work, often my game time is limited and I want to make the most out of every gaming session.

While Lost Soul Aside isn’t a soulslike game, it does feature some pretty hectic boss fights.

How can I change the difficulty settings in Lost Soul Aside?

Short answer: is you can’t… But there is a solution to your troubles.

While you can’t change the difficulty from the menu, getting struck down enough times will unlock a trinket that will help you on your way.

Seleria’s Keepsake is an item that allows Kaser to take 20 per cent less damage and deal 10 per cent more damage.

Equip Saleria’s Keepsake to help out in those extra tough boss battles.

If that doesn’t help, fret not.

Seleria’s Keepsake II will automatically unlock after another failed encounter, which makes Kaser take 35 per cent less damage and deal 20 per cent more damage. There’s even a Seleria’s Keepsake III if you’re really struggling. Each one of these items essentially decreases the game’s difficulty.

Lost Soul Aside is out now on PC and PlayStation 5, it retails for around $110 AUD.
