Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is just a few days away! It’s sending waves through the gaming community and doesn’t seem to be stopping.

Now we have fresh news of a large-scale Zombies Mode and exciting new details on what players can expect from this brand-new experience.

Here’s what you need to know about Operation Deadbolt in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies:

How does it work?

Players will take part in Operation Deadbolt, an open-world zombie experience. It’s all broken down into three parts.

Operation Deadbolt: Explore an open world and search for valuable Acquisitions and Schematics.
A World of Opportunity: Complete Contracts to earn Essence, collect Acquisitions, and clear Missions to discover what is really happening in the Exclusion Zone.
Secure and Extract: You also need to learn when the situation on the ground becomes advantageous as well as untenable. Immerse yourself and work with other players to complete the more difficult mission objectives, and extract before you’re overwhelmed.

It all takes place on Warzone’s brand-new Urzikstan map, which appears to be more of a mashup between Zombies and MW2’s DMZ. In fact, DMZ players will be very familiar with a lot of the gameplay and mechanics found in Zombies.
