Blizzard is gearing up to bring another incredible year to World of Warcraft fans. In a recent announcement, players of both retail and classic WoW can expect to experience another rollout of content in 2024.

The final season of Dragonflight
Next year, players can look forward to a range of content that will cap the expansion off. Including Dragonflight Seeds of Renewal (10.2.5) and the introduction of follower dungeons.
This, combined with the Dragonflight epilogue quests, will lead players onto World of Warcrafts’ next expansion – The War Within.
Oh, the possibilities!
Perusing the above image, just like any hardcore fan, there are several delicious tastes for the insatiable heroes of Azeroth.
The first thing I noticed was the pirate-esque 10.2.6 flag. Pirate content has been speculated throughout the expansion, but we’re yet to see it. This likely means we will be getting something. Or maybe Booty Bay is getting a revival? Anything is possible!

Also seen on the roadmap: 10.2.7, titled Dark Heart. This is something called Harbinger Quests. Using some deductive reasoning, the title of the patch and quests appear to hint at something involving Xal’atath, the Harbinger Of The Void. This could potentially be the first involvement of The War Within storyline.
Does it get more exciting than that?!
For those who just can’t wait until 2024, the Public Test Realm is now live with some of the additional features we will see in the new year.
Ready for Cataclysm… Again?
For all the Classic players, 2024 sees not only the extension of the Season of Discovery but also the much anticipated return to Cataclysm. Classic Beta Signups are open today for those interested in getting their hands on it before its release.

Season of Discovery has been a huge hit in the World of Warcraft community and it shows no signs of stopping. Phase 2, coming in 2024, sees the implementation of a new Level 40 Cap. Alongside this, Gnomeregan will take the lead as the new level-up raid and Stranglethorn Vale will be the new world PvP location.
And if you’re up for the challenge, Hardcore Realms: Solo Self-found Mode will also be available. Make sure to stock up on tissues, it’s certainly not for the faint of heart!
