The motion tracker is beeping slowly… Now more rapidly… At an extreme pace – the xenomorphs are upon us!
Dead by Daylight is bringing Alien’s Ellen Ripley to the game as a survivor, alongside a terrifying Xenomorph killer, in a new DLC launching August 29th.
Each character comes with its own exclusive perks. Starting with the Xenomorph, it’s fresh abilities include Rapid Brutality, Alien Instinct and Ultimate Weapon.

Rapid Brutality grants haste once striking a survivor with Basic Attack. Alien Instinct kicks in once you hook a survivor, revealing the furthest injured player and hitting them with Oblivious Status Effect. Lastly, for Ultimate Weapon, whenever you open a locker, survivors in your terror radius shout out and suffer from Blindness status effect for 30 seconds.
With the Xenomorph comes its greatest enemy; Ellen Ripley. This badass woman is also part of the DLC and offers her own range of great perks.

Chemical Trap activates when standing next to a downed pallet to place a trap. This trap is highlighted for other survivors but once triggered by the Killer, it reveals their aura at 50% for 4 seconds. Light Footed is active when healthy and suppresses the sound of footsteps traversing around the map. Lastly, the Lucky Star perk activates within a locker where your grunts and pool of blood are suppressed for 10 seconds. Upon exiting the locker, fellow survivors are highlighted as well as the nearest generator.

But that’s not all, the DLC also includes a new map; Nostromo Wreckage.
Rumour has it there’ll be some familiar landmarks for Alien fans to get amongst and new fans to fall in love with for the first time.
