Indie Fan Fest 2026 revealed plenty of upcoming indies to keep an eye on — but more importantly, it dropped a handful of demos that you can jump into right now!
We’ve rounded up five cosy(-ish) picks worth your time. BRB, clearing our weekend schedule.
Hidden around the World
Starting off sweet and simple: a hand-drawn hidden-object adventure with adorable animation to match. In Hidden around the World, you’ll scour detailed landscapes for cleverly tucked-away items while completing side missions like snapping photos of specific characters. It’s calm, charming, and scratches that “just one more level” itch.
The demo is available now on Steam.
Thrifty Business
From the creators of Sticky Business comes Thrifty Business, a thrift-shop management sim! Thrifty Business channels a little bit of Unpacking with its satisfying furniture arranging, all wrapped in Spellgarden Games’ signature pixel-art style.
There’s no firm launch date just yet, but the demo is live now.

Cleaning Up
A game about cleaning? Sign me up. Cleaning Up somehow makes tidying look ridiculously fun, complete with bubbly sound effects and trash bouncing around like styrofoam peanuts. This one’s for the fellow menial-task enthusiasts (hi, it’s me).
The demo is available now, with a release date of April 15th for PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation.
Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth
As someone who grew up with The Moomins, this was a delightful surprise. Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth has cosy winter vibes reminiscent of Winter Burrow — except Moomintroll seems perfectly content wandering through the snow in just a scarf.
You can explore Moominvalley in the demo now, with the full game launching April 28th.

Call of the Elder Gods
After being thoroughly enchanted while unravelling the mystery of Blue Prince, Call of the Elder Gods, well… Called to me. The narrative puzzle game is a sequel to Call of the Sea. I haven’t played its predecessor myself, and it looks like you won’t have to to enjoy its sequel.
There’s no confirmed release date yet, but you can play The First Chapter on Steam right now.
