The Aussie Wildlife of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach

I’m a sucker for wildlife and animals in games, and Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is no exception.

The bulk of the game is set in Australia, with Sam Bridges tasked with connecting our great country. Scattered across the desert plains and outback are hundreds of Aussie animals in need of rescue.

Koalas, emus, echidnas — almost all of our favourite Australian animals can be found in the wilds of the game.

With such detailed environments and creatures comes a much-needed game feature: Photo Mode.

Death Stranding 2 includes an intricate photo mode to snap pics of all the cute and cuddly wildlife — I’m in heaven! So without further ado…

Many of these creatures are tough to track! But between Shaun and I, we think we’ve found them all.

Here’s the full list of Australian animals found in the wild in Death Stranding 2:

  • Kangaroo
  • Emu
  • Echidna
  • Wombat
  • Tasmanian Devil
  • Quokka
  • Platypus
  • Lyrebird
  • Koala
  • Bilby

Players can also find a series of albino animals, which offer extra ‘likes’ for returning them to the Animal Shelter.
