In a riveting PlayStation State of Play, Kojima fans have been treated to an exciting trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to Death Stranding.
Promising an experience as mystifying and unconventional as its predecessor, the new trailer provided a detailed look into the now-titled Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

The nearly 10-minute trailer opens with a chilling display of surgery, setting an eerie tone that resonates with the signature strangeness of the Death Stranding universe.
The trailer introduces an array of fresh locations beyond the confines of the US, unveiling a world teeming with otherworldly enemies and landscapes.
A familiar villain, now sporting a Joker-esque makeover, reprises their role in this sequel, adding an extra layer of mystery to the narrative. This baddie uses an electric guitar as a weapon! True to the essence of Death Stranding, the iconic baby makes a return, now accompanied by a tiny, Goosebumps-like talking doll. This game is wild.
The sequel boasts an all-star cast featuring Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Léa Seydoux (No Time To Die), Elle Fanning (Maleficent), and Troy Baker (The Last of Us).

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is poised to take players on a captivating mission of human connection beyond the United Cities of America (UCA). Protagonist Sam (Norman Reedus), accompanied by loyal companions, embarks on a quest to save humanity from the brink of extinction. As the player, you’ll need to navigate a world fraught with obstacles and otherworldly adversaries.

Kojima’s Action-Espionage Game “PHYSINT”
Sony and Hideo Kojima are teaming up to create an all-new IP in the action-espionage genre (think Metal Gear Solid).

Titled “PHYSINT”, at least for now, this is the third original IP from Kojima Productions. Kojima has confirmed it’s an interactive game, but says “It could be called a movie.”
With this new title, alongside Kojima’s Xbox project titled OD, Kojima fans have plenty of reasons to get excited. We’ll be watching this one closely!
