At their San Diego Comic-Con panel today, Insomniac Games revealed exciting new information for their upcoming PlayStation 5 game, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
The panel kicked off with the reveal of a brand new trailer that provides more details on the story and plot of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

In the trailer, we see that Kraven’s hunters’ arrival in New York City leads to questions surrounding the purpose of their arrival as well as who, and what, they are hunting. But as Peter, Miles and Mary Jane Watson dig deeper into Kraven’s motivations, the alien symbiote begins to threaten New York and everyone and everything they hold dear.
Not only that, but the trailer also provides a new look at Marvel’s New York, which allows players to swing across the East River to explore Brooklyn and Queens.
Of course, the biggest jaw-dropping moment is the confirmation of Harry Osborn being the first Venom host and a full look at Venom in all his monstrous glory.
The panel ended with another exciting announcement, giving fans the first look at Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition PS5 bundle.
The bundle features a captivating design on both the PS5 console and DualSense wireless controller that reflects the intensity of the symbiote and its capacity for transformation and power.

For players who already own a PS5 console, the striking Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 cover will also be sold separately for both the standard and digital edition consoles. You can also pick up the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller separately as well.
Pre-orders for this limited edition set go live on July 28 with a release date set for September 1.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 releases on PS5 on October 20.
