In an already massive year, Devolver Digital has done us a solid by delaying a bunch of games to 2024.
This means I can focus more time on Starfield, Spider-Man 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, Assassin’s Creed Mirage and my backlog as big as the distance between Earth and the sun.

Devolver isn’t leaving 2023 completely behind, with The Talos Principal II still locked in, alongside Wizard with a Gun, Karmazoo, Gunbrella and the latest update for Broforce Forever on PC today.
“Enjoy the art of video game delays and find out which of your most anticipated Devolver Digital published games are moving to next year! The future’s future is here today.”
Only Devolver Digital could pull this off and we all laugh along. The list isn’t long, and we can all respect the work that goes into these independent games.
Here’s all the Devolver Digital games you won’t be able to play this year:
The Plucky Squire

The Plucky Squire is my most anticipated Devolver Digital release, created by Aussie studio All Possible Futures, the game was planned to release this year but has now been delayed to 2024. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Stick it to the Stickman

Stick it to the Stickman gives me Stick Death vibes, but maybe a little less bloody. This platformer brawler has also been delayed, it’s now coming to PC next year but to ease the tension there’s a demo available now on Steam.
Anger Foot

Anger Foot is a game about a dude with a very angry foot. Kick down doors, break open faces, grab a gun, shoot some weird alien things, blow stuff up, kick down some more doors and repeat. It’s a fast-paced action game that makes you feel like John Wick in an alternate dimension.

There’s a demo available on Steam if you want to check it out, allowing you to play the first few levels. I played it. It’s fun. Anger Foot is coming to PC and Mac, you guessed it, next year.
Pepper Grinder

Pepper Grinder is another Devolver Digital gem, in this action-mining adventure you mount a giant drill to your arm and leap in and out of the ground like a flippin’ dolphin. Amazing.
Pepper Grinder is coming to Nintendo Switch and PC soon and by soon… I mean next year.
Skate Story

Skate Story is also delayed. Yep, the fourth and final Devolver Digital game pushed to next year. Developed by solo dev Sam Eng, Skate Story is a trippy skater adventure that sees you take on demons and otherworldly enemies while saving the souls of others.
