Forza Horizon 6 scatters cars for sale across its gorgeous Japanese map, waiting to be found and collected. The game refers to these as aftermarket cars, and they range from stock to outright mad — and everything in between.
Other than them being always discounted, there’s still plenty we don’t know about how, where and when aftermarket cars pop up for sale — however, we understand them to be dynamic, scaling to your campaign progress and credits. They also appear on the map alongside points of interest relevant to the car — for example, a drift car at the top of a touge run, or a rally car beside a dirt circuit track.
Some of the cars offered are completely stock, but most have had plenty of work done — some with entirely custom fabrication you can’t recreate in the autoshow.
Oh, and we found a few Forza Edition cars, too.
Here’s the 40 cars we’ve found for sale across the map in the Forza Horizon 6 preview build.
Forza Edition (FE) cars
1994 Mazda MX-5 Forza Edition
Forza Edition | S2 850
How could we not start with the most outrageous of them all? The V10-swapped Forza Edition MX-5 (or Miata) is the undisputed centrepiece of Forza Horizon 6’s aftermarket car roster, and it’s been splashed all over the marketing for good reason.
Even after the discount, you’ll still need to fork out a pretty penny — 450,000 credits — to add it to your collection. But how could you not? The V10 sticking out of the bonnet, two turbos replacing the pop-up headlights, drag tyres, a tow hook for a tongue. Gimme!

2022 Subaru BRZ Forza Edition
Forza Edition | A700
The second of the Forza Edition cars we’ve found so far, here’s a Subaru BRZ. Can we even call it a BRZ? To say it has been modified would be putting it… Lightly.
I haven’t mustered the credits to afford the 450k price tag, but I think it is safe to assume it will be a cross-country machine.

1973 Mazda RX-3 Forza Edition
Forza Edition | B600
The third of the Forza Edition cars we found is a 1973 RX-3 that has been given a new lease on life, with outrageously large works-style fender flares to cover its outrageously wide tyres.
The external oil cooler connected through the front grille also suggests the original rotary engine has been, uh… Upgraded. Lookout!

Aftermarket cars
1994 Mazda MX-5
Common | B600
This 1994 Miata might look downright tame compared to its Forza Edition sister, but still packs a raft of street level peformance upgrades and a Rocket Bunny widebody kit. And at ~20k credits, it is a comparative bargain. So why not take both? Variety is the spice of life, after all.

1997 Honda Civic Type R
Common | A690
There’s almost nothing stock about this ’97 Civic, plus there’s more power than a FWD should ever have to handle. Expect a healthy dose of understeer when you mash the throttle.

2004 Honda Civic Type R
Common | B533
This Civic Type R keeps things relatively understated, notwithstanding the Kaminari parts and Compomotive CXR rims.

2023 Honda Civic Type R
Rare | A677
A widebody kit, semi-slick tyres and performance upgrades turn this modern Civic Type R into a front-wheel-drive monster.

1993 Autozam AZ-1
Rare | B566
One of only two Kei cars I’ve found so far in Forza Horizon 6, the Autozam AZ-1 is as iconic as they get. Mid-engine, gullwing doors, and a 657cc 3-cylinder engine to boot. Plus, this one’s had a raft of performance upgrades — a car custom-made for go-karting around the narrow streets of Tokyo.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Autozam AZ-1 in a Foza Horizon game, either — it first appeared in the JDM Jewels car pack for Forza Horizon 5 back in 2024.

2019 Hyundai Veloster N
Epic | A652
This Hyundai Veloster N features a widebody kid alongside performance upgrades.

2021 RJ Anderson #37 Pro 4 Truck
Epic | A677
Forza Horizon 5 veterans will recognise this off-roading powerhouse immediately. Obsurdly powerful and built for big air, it’ll chew through anything the Japanese countryside can throw at it. This car is technically stock, but it feels silly to throw it in with the stock cars.

2008 BMW M3
Common | A699
This M3 sports a wide stance, an agressive front splitter and plenty of performance parts to boot. A track machine.

2020 Formula Drift #91 BMW M2
Epic | S1 748
This drift machine from Forza Horizon 5‘s Formula Drift pack returns. Spot it from a mile away, slide it everywhere.

2021 Toyota GR Yaris
Epic | S1 797
This GR Yaris boasts a 1.6L inline-4 engine swap plus rally upgrades and an outrageous bodykit. It doesn’t matter what surface — trust me when I say this thing hauls. Once collected, it became my daily for whatever the map threw at me.

1998 Toyota Supra RZ
Rare | S1 709
This Supra RZ is in full drift mode.

2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR
Rare | A694
Not far from the stock version, but heaps of fun.

1997 Mitsubishi GTO
Common | B586
The GTO (or 3000GT) sports a twin-turbo V6 and is just about the coolest looking car I have ever seen. This one sports some Bomex parts and Work Emotion M8R rims.

2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Rare | A682
The standard WRX STI is already a gem, but everything is just that little bit better in this tuned version. An excellent daily driver for whatever Japan might throw at you.

2013 Subaru BRZ
Common | A669
This BRZ might be more stock than its Forza Edition counterpart, but it still packs plenty of punch. It looks the part, too, with a massive Rocket Bunny wing on the back and C West bumpers and skirts fitted.

2020 Jimco #179 Hammerhead
Rare | A652
The #179 Hammerhead returns from Forza Horizon 5‘s Rally Adventure expansion, and it hauls.

2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Rare | S1 715
This mustang is essentially stock, if you ignore the massive bonnet intake that results in you barely being able to see what’s ahead of you in cabin view.

2003 Honda S2000
Common | S1 712
This S2000 has been modified to be an absolute track day weapon. Just look at that rear wing? It does nothing to keep the rear in check, though — expect to spend most of your time travelling sideways.

2003 Honda S2000
Common | B577
This S2000 isn’t as race ready as its twin above, but boy does it look good. It comes with some light performance modifications, a Honda rear wing and 5Zigen ProRacer Z1 rims.

2002 Acura RSX Type S
Common | A630
This Acura RSX is drift-tuned perfection: rear-wheel-drive conversion, a 4-speed transmission and plenty of negative camber. Good luck keeping it going in a straight line — but why would you want to?

2002 Acura RSX
Common | B600
Tis Acura RSX is comparatively tame compared to its drifting variant above, but it still packs a punch, with a variety of engine and handling upgrades.

1997 Nissan Stagea RS Four V
Epic | B532
The Stagea has a shared lineage with the R33 and R34 Skylines, making for one hell of a sports saloon. This ultimate sleeper wagon isn’t far from stock, but sports some engine upgrades and a set of sick rims. The Stagea first appeared in the JDM Jewels car pack for Forza Horizon 5 back in 2024, and I am very glad to see it back in Forza Horizon 6.

2003 Nissan Fairlady Z (350Z)
Common | A693
This 350Z has had as much work done on the inside as the outside — which is to say, a lot. The Rocket Bunny widebody kit paired with the Gran Seeker rims is *chefs kiss*.

2022 Ford Focus ST
Common | A679
This Focus ST has been fitted with Maxton Design parts and some lovely ADV.1 rims. The internals aren’t stock, either — this hot hatch hauls!

2023 Acura Integra A-Spec
Rare | A671
I didn’t realise how depserately I needed a Sara Choi widebody kit and Advan TC-4 rims on an Integra A-Spec until now. Just look at it. There’s also a raft of other upgrades that make it perfect for drifting. Catch me in it on a touge run!

1992 Volkswagen Mk2 Golf GTI
Common | D314
This Mk2 GTI has a relatively understated widebody kit as Rocket Bunny kits go, but those Konig Daylite rims are anything but. This is early 90’s auto-porn.

2021 Volkswagen Golf R
Common | B558
This near stock Golf R keeps things relatively understated, albeit with a lovely bonnet scoop, revised front splitter and sideskirts.

1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
Common | B571
Name a better looking 90s car — I’ll wait. This Eclipse has been built for Touge, with a number of performance upgrades and VIS Racing aero.

Stock Cars
1994 Honda Prelude
Common | C410
You’d be hard struck to find a more basic car in Forza Horizon 6, but there’s just something about it — the revvy 2.2 litre VTEC, the sleek styling. Plus, it is a fantastic base from which you can build anything from a drift machine to a track monster.

2022 Honda E
Common | D398
A fully-electric rear-wheel drive supermini that looks as cute as a button.

2020 Nissan GTR Nismo
Epic | S1 736
Nissan claim the GTR Nismo is the “world’s fastest volume production car,” and who am I to doubt them? Very few volume production cars come as PI-class S1 as stock. It is up there as one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world.

2018 Dodge SRT Demon
Rare | A678
It is stock, but what else could you possibly do to improve it?

2018 Renault Megane R.S.
Rare | B547
Finished in “Volcanic Orange,” you won’t lose this Megane R.S. in a car park. Don’t mistake stock for slow — 280 horsepower all through the front wheels is plenty.

2011 Mazda RX-8
Rare | B508
The RX-8 has always been a JDM jem, with its revvy wankel engine. The styling is timeless, too.

2019 Nissan 370Z Nismo
Rare | A603
This 2019 370Z is the perfect tuning platform for anything from track racing to touge runs.

2018 Honda Civic Type R
Rare | A608
The fourth Civic Type R we’ve found so far is a stock 2018 FK8 variant. And it is a quick one — at the time, it held the Nürburgring Nordschleife lap record for a front-wheel-drive car.

1983 Volkswagen Mk1 Golf GTI
Common | D314
The OG hot hatch — Mk1 Golf GTI. As a 1983 build, this GTI sports an extra cog (5th gear) missing on the Mk1 GTI’s original production run.

1991 Honda Beat
Rare | D283
The second Kei car we found is this mid-engine, rear-wheel drive convertible. It is gorgeous, which is perhaps unsurprising given it was designed by Pininfarina. It was also the last car approved by Honda’s founder, Soichiro Honda, before his death in 1991.

2003 Ford Focus RS
Common | C484
Don’t be fooled by Forza Horizon’s ‘Common’ categorisation, the 2003 Mk1 Ford Focus RS is actually surprisingly rare. As stock it comes with all manner of performance upgrades including its pièce de résistance, a big Garrett turbocharger. This was my “boy racer” car of my dreams when I was ten.

1991 Toyota Sera
Rare | D344
The Toyota Sera is another return entry from the JDM Jewels car pack for Forza Horizon 5 back in 2024 and I’m not mad about it. It isn’t technically a Kei car, but it is one in spirit given it is, well, tiny, and boasts butterfly doors. Plus, take a look at that glass canopy roof?!

Hyundai i20 N
Rare | B564
The i20 N boasts a 1.6 litre turbocharged engine and a go-faster red front splitter and sideskirts.

And there you have it — the 40 cars we found for sale across the map in Forza Horizon 6‘s pre-release preview build.
We have no doubt there will be plenty more to discover when Forza Horizon 6 lands in early access on May 15th, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
A pre-release preview build of Forza Horizon 6 was supplied to Quest Daily for the purpose of this article.
