Quest Daily’s Game of the Year 2023

2023 has been packed with stellar video games! It has to be in the running for one of the greatest years of all time. That said, it makes picking a top 5 list and crowning a game of the year incredibly tough.

We’ve made our lists, checked them twice, and now it’s time to find out which games have been extra nice!

#5 – Hogwarts Legacy

“The Wizarding World is very special to me. Playing this game returned me back to my childhood in the best way possible.”

“This is the Harry Potter game we’ve been asking for! Exploring Hogwarts and learning spells, I feel like I’m living my childhood dream of being a wizard!”

#4 – Super Mario Bros. Wonder

“It’s all in the name… Wonder! This game is magic, vibrant, and loads of fun!”

#3 – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

“I love the idea of a Where Are They Now interactive story that allows me to see the fruits of my labor from the first game. The nostalgia for a world that isn’t even that old hit me hard.”

“For turning wandering into wonder and making exploration excellent, Tears of the Kingdom proved to be an outstanding and worthy follow-up for the legendary Zelda series.”

#2 – Baldur’s Gate III

“The freedom and depth it offers within character creation, exploration and interactivity is on a level I’ve never experienced before. The way Larian Studios present the mind boggling amount of choices, in a very digestible way, is extraordinary.”

#1 – Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

“You’d think it’d be an impossible to feat to create the best superhero game of all time, but Insomniac Games has done it… Twice. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 offers deep story, ruthless action and combat and traversal mechanics. Never have I felt more heroic while playing a video game.”
