First revealed back in December, today’s Xbox Partner Preview gave us a closer look at The First Berserker: Khazan. Set within the Dungeon & Fighter universe, the game pairs gritty fantasy with brutal souls-like action.
You play as Khazan, the ancestor of all Slayers, falsely accused of treason and on the run from the imperial army. Survive your pursuers, unravel the conspiracy and get your revenge!

The cel shaded, anime-look of the characters and enemies, paired with a dark and detailed world, works surprisingly well. With excellent design and animation, the action RPG is ticking all the visual boxes for me.
Its rapid hack and slash combat looks brutal; blocking and parrying essential to not getting cloven in two. Khazan and his enemies alike, can unleash ferocious attacks and abilities.

I’ll be keeping both eyes on this one for sure.
There’s no release date yet but it’s set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
