Winter is well and truly underway; the weather is less than ideal for gamers to be touching grass right now. With all sorts of illnesses flying around, we’re better off staying inside being warm, dry and healthy! And what better way to do so other than curling up with a game or two until the winter hibernation is over.
Here are my top picks to immerse yourself and forget the horrid weather of winter:

A true form of escapism is becoming the smallest, cutest and fluffiest thing on the planet: a house cat! Little Kitty Big City sees even dog lovers want to give it a hot crack, running along the Tokyo inspired streets and solving puzzles along the way.
The interactive shop fronts lead to lots to do in this big city and even allow you to accept quests from other street animals. Live your best furry adventurous life through this lost kitty and enjoy the sun (even if it is in digital form).
You can play Little Kitty Big City on PC, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
Hot Blood- (PC, PlayStation, Switch)

If you’re more into grisly games, Hot Blood takes a fun twist on traditional graphics and uses a low-poly block shape for its aesthetic. Inspired by action films of the 80s and 90s, Hot Blood sees you take down zombies as Roxy, a hero with a thirst for fashion and making heads roll.
This brawling title combines hot moves with hot looks, as Roxy is customisable with a range of fun and spicy outfits to take down the zombies with your own personal flair. She will make you forget all about being cold and miserable with her powerful round house kick and cute mini skirts.
Hot Blood is available to play on PC via Steam, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
